Lighthearted Angel

Choir Canine for Independence

Meet Kiltie. She joined the Simcoe family in May 2004. She goes everywhere with Sally. Some folks ask if she sings. We always say she does the "rests" very well.

Kiltie joins the choir Kiltie has big paws to fill but is up to the challenge.

Is there any doubt she's loved? And gives love in return? That loving look.

Even when there's a special event, Kiltie dons the appropriate uniform.

Fourth of July with the Chancellaires. Fourth of July with the Chancellaires.

In her patriotic best. In her patriotic best.

On May 3, 2004, Shelby celebrated her 14th birthday. She retired from service. For more information on what that means, click here.

Shelby is gone now but has passed the baton on to Kiltie. Kiltie has a big robe to fill but is up to the task.

Shelby's new robe Meet Shelby, Sally Simcoe's first Canine Companion for Independence.

Shelby goes everywhere with Sally, so when the choir decided to get robes, it only seemed appropriate that Shelby should have a matching uniform. Pastor Gene declares Shelby as PGCC's official mascot.

Doing her thing at dedication service. Shelby is the only one that has permission from Pastor Gene to Sleep through the sermon.

Special thanks to Cathi Barrett for her sewing talents. Shelby models her new robe.
