Happy Anniversary PGCC!

August 4 marks the fifth anniversary of the very first service held by Pleasant Grove Community Church, which took place in the ballroom at Timbercreek Lodge, Sun City. Originally scheduled for two rear sections of the ballroom, portable walls were moved and additional chairs set up as 173 people entered into worship that memorable day.

Bill and Mary Jane Baker led in worship and Pastor Gene preached. Special music was provided by Bill Baker, Marie Cartwright, and David Ruch, violinist. Scripture was read by Doris Garnhart. Bill Brooks, Joy Carter, Anna Enos and Roy Friedrichs ushered, and Dave Garnhart and Inez Kingham were greeters.

As we see how wonderfully God has led us the past five years, we know we have much to look forward to as He continues to shape us.
