Say Hello to . . . The ChairMen

Round ‘em up and head ‘em out! Lindy Williams, De Emory and Jim Wise roll tables into place in preparation for a women’s luncheon.

From the hallway outside the auditorium, you hear good-natured banter hovering over the sound of busyness. In less than 2 hours, the room has been transformed from row seating for 600 to table seating for 350. This is the work of the “ChairMen,” who are on-call to set up for meetings and events. Procedures are systemized to coordinate tasks and speed the operation.
Because we have no custodian on the premises, volunteers are placed on a roster and called when needed on a rotation basis. There is currently a need for more men so that volunteers are called less often. If you could lend a hand, please call the Church Office.

Our hats are off to our fine corps of ChairMen!

Ron Hughes wrangles a stack of chairs into place.
