Women's Ministry

We are here to serve you because we believe women are designed by God to meet the needs of other women. Our purpose is to encourage you to develop and maintain a vital relationship with Jesus Christ, through prayer, study, outreach activities, and service.

Bosom Buddies - Breast Cancer Support Group
|
 This is a ministry group for women who have had or been diagnosed with breast cancer. The purpose of the group is fun and fellowship, making friends and encouraging women with similar experiences, praying together, sharing knowledge about the disease, new treatments, where to find special needs as well as accompanying women shopping. This group meeting every other month on the third Wednesday. |

Hearts & Hands for Others
|
| You are always welcome to meet the third Thursday of most months to do projects for overseas mission hospitals and to make special items for local needs. These ladies also oversee Samaritan’s Purse Christmas boxes for needy children around the world. |
|
Memorial Receptions
|
| Families may request refreshments to be served following memorial services to help bring comfort and encouragement to families going through the difficult time of the loss of a loved one. |
|
New Beginnings - Widows Encouragement Group
|
|
This ministry is an outreach of support, encouragement, and comfort to widows.
They meet the fourth Friday of the month for lunch and fellowship. |

Prayer & Praise Tree
|
|
Prayer is the power behind all we do! If you would be willing to pray for special needs as they arise in the Church Family, you are invited to become a part of this phone and e-mail ministry.
The Prayer & Praise Tree (P&PT), a service of our Women's Ministry, is available to all of the PGCC family. If you have a special prayer request or a praise, contact Dorothy Stone or Bette Moen between the hours of 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM. These requests are confidential and are not shared beyond the P&PT members.
