GOD is so wonderful...It finally happened. I just got word that the 1,500,000 books that we brought over last May are right now being delivered throughout all of Cuba.

One key church leader said he "could not recall the last time the Cuban church was so excited about anything."

Here are a few comments from the Cuban church leaders:

• Thanks for having sent to our nation such a large amount of written materials, especially the titles of your books.
• The books have been coming to every denomination and church home, and they have awakened a great interest.
• Last week 2 teachers from the elementary school sent me a note that they want to read the books.
• And an unbelieving medical doctor asked me a favor and said, "Please do not leave me out of reading these materials"

Since there are 11 million people in CUBA AND 1.5 million books from the shipment, we estimate that almost every family has access to the books. Even government officials have been asking for them. The Christians here in Cuba have seen how the walls of atheism are falling down. There is now dialogue with strong communists. The church has been edified and the atheists have been impacted.

Now the thing is that many do not have glasses to read this wonderful news of the Gospel and so the Josh McDowell ministry is hoping to get money to purchase glasses for these people...as they can get them wholesale for $1 a pair. I will be happy to take any donations and send them in as a group from our area.
